The ATW First to Full Middle Distance Triathlon delivers the complete ATW race-day experience in a demanding and rewarding format. Approved and regulated by British Triathlon, the event meets high standards of safety, fairness, and race delivery. Set within the lively festival atmosphere of St Neots Regatta Meadow, the weekend focuses on quality racing, community spirit, and an unforgettable experience both on and off the course.
The weekend gets underway on Friday, when athletes, friends, and families can arrive early to enjoy the ever-popular pasta party—ideal for topping up energy stores ahead of race day. On-site camping allows you to settle in, soak up the pre-race atmosphere, and eliminate any unnecessary travel stress on the morning of your big race.
Saturday is race day, with athletes taking on a 1,900m swim, 90km bike ride, and 21.1km run. The middle-distance course is smooth, scenic, and designed for enjoyment, backed by excellent organisation and enthusiastic support throughout the event village and along the course. Whether you’re stepping up to this distance for the first time or returning as a seasoned competitor, the day promises an exciting and rewarding challenge from start to finish.
Sunday is all about recovery and relaxation. If you’ve stayed on-site, you can enjoy a well-earned lie-in at the campsite before heading home.

There’s always a great buzz around our event village, with plenty of perfect spots to cheer on athletes from the finish line sidelines to the bike feed stations out on the course. Regatta Park offers loads of open space and things to see and do, making it a fantastic place to spend the day. In the park, you’ll find delicious food options and a friendly atmosphere for spectators and athletes alike. Dogs are very welcome, but please keep them on a lead while you’re at the venue.
Spectators
The event village at Regatta Park has a dedicated field for both parking and camping, allowing all competitors to base themselves on-site for the entire weekend. This makes access to the race, event facilities, and entertainment easy and convenient. Parking charges will be payable on exit from the venue.
Parking

On-site camping is available within the event village, allowing athletes to arrive from Friday and stay through to Sunday morning, or choose to camp for just one night. It’s the perfect way to absorb the pre-race atmosphere, settle nerves, and enjoy the full festival experience. Camping tickets can be added when purchasing your race entry.
